1823 Bakehouse - Franklin

We decided to try this restaurant based on a recommendation from Doordarshan, and it was definitely not what we anticipated. The flavors of the cookies, gravy, and sugar cream cake were quite underwhelming. However, the freshness of the dishes was impressive. As we explored the menu, we discovered that everything was gluten-free, which might explain the lack of taste. I'm really glad there is a gluten-free option available for those who need it, as such places are hard to come by. It would be helpful to promote this aspect more prominently online.

The drinks were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend this café to all coffee and tea lovers! Overall, it's a wonderful place not only for coffee and tea but also for a variety of specialty drinks like kombucha and Triple XXX Root Beer. Plus, the food is amazing!

As a New Yorker who's tried countless gluten-free spots over the past six years, I can confidently say this is one of the best. I came to the city to visit family, not expecting to find many options for myself. Thankfully, a quick Google search brought me here. I picked up some pumpkin muffins and a double chocolate muffin, both of which were fantastic. Even my family members who are gluten-free were impressed. The coffee was also delicious. I can't wait to come back!

We went at 11:00 and thought we would miss most people, but we waited for 20 minutes just to order. They brought the coffee about 15 minutes later and it was good. We waited for dinner for 20 minutes. They brought out my husband's cookies and heaviness, but not mine. We waited five minutes and thought they could make a new batch. Nothing came, so we went and asked, and they brought my order about five minutes later. His were half cool, half a little warm and my came hot and fresh. Biscuits were a little dry, but the severity was pretty good. We go back, but probably get it to go and check our order before we go?

This place is amazing! I contacted them for a wedding cake on short notice. I requested a snickerdoodle flavor and vanilla cinnamon sugar icing and boy did they deliver! I sent some pictures for decorating ideas and the cake turned out beautiful! Everyone there is beyond nice and helpful! I can not thank them enough for putting my cake together! Also, everything I?ve tried from muffins, to brownies has beyond delicious! Highly recommend
