The food is fantastic and the lady that looks after you is the sweetest person. It was so good I took other people there again for another amazing meal later in the week!
We enjoy Tapas, therefore decided to try this Tapas Restaurant, as it was around a 10 minute walk from our hotel (Flemings Riverside Hotel), during our recent trip to Frankfurt. We were not disappointed. It is a small quirky restaurant, with a fantastic open fire. We were given the choice of tables, one being right beside the fire...perfect. The Waitress was a lovely person, who assisted in our meal selection, which was delicious and the sangria was also superb. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We would not hesitate in returning, if we were ever visiting Frankfurt in the future.
As one of the other reviewers already captured it, we also really love this place. Full of character and charm. Service is friendly and homely, fire is crackling, and the food is just so nice. Last time I had rabbit dish, not something I would normally have, but I was delighted with the beautiful rich taste. Together with the nice Rioja it is a meal that I will not forget. Other favorites of mine are anchovies in vinegar, and sardines from the grill. The lady that will serve you is always very happy to help you to choose. Enjoy!
I found this place by accident, and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant is so cozy and inviting - the lighting and the music are just right every time. The prices are very good, and the food is awesome. The sangria is also very good. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm going for dinner tonight!! Make a reservation - we've been before when seating wasn't a problem, but it can fill up quickly. Very easy find from the 36 bus.
A great accidental find recommended by a local pub landlord. Reservations are a must as there was even a small queue outside before the place had even opened.Had great food and wine in a wonderful atmosphere with latin music playing in the background and a big roaring open fire in the main seating area with blankets on the back of the chairs for though ladies that might feel the cold.Had the mushrooms and the mixed seafood platter starters and the Paella Pescado for the main course with a bottle of red wine recommended by the owner. All delicious. Recommend this for families, friends and even found it romantic ;-)
