There is a large round table where you can pick from a wide selection of cold foods cereals, cut fruits, bread rolls, bread, cheeses, salads, lox, and some sauces (like a tasty green pesto). The selection of cheeses isn't large by any means, but the ones they have are quite good. At least on our visit, they had a nice Camembert, a feta, and the delicious Tête de Moine on a girolle. If that's not enough for you, though, there's a chef's station where you can get eggs cooked to order. They even have bacon there! There's also some French toast as well, but I didn't try it. The cafe is located in an atrium which gives it somewhat of a cold feel, but the modern decor still keeps it pleasant. And with the large windows, a lot of light flows in it's a nice start to the day. Though I wasn't hung over, so maybe not everyone would agree. It's also conveniently located directly next to the Dom/Roemer U4 stop, so you don't have to do too much walking around the city if it's a cold day. I also have to mention the bathrooms briefly for some reason, the proprietors decided to buy the latest, highest tech bathroom equipment but I think they went a bit far. The bathroom is not maintained to the perfect, pristine quality one might expect from such a pricey establishment and the toilet with 20 buttons on it just seems silly in that context. All in all, though, it's a great place to take a girlfriend for a Sunday morning treat if you like spoiling her. But come with a big appetite and the discipline to take small portions of more items rather than large portions of a few, or you'll find it's not worth the price!
