Restaurant Schandis - Frankfurt am Main

We planned our travel route from Colorado to Europe to include a stopover in Frankfurt to be sure we had a chance to eat at Shandis. We ate at Babam the year before and met Masoud who was an absolute gem. Our dinner at Shandis remains one of our best meals in our 5 week travel through Germany,Italy and France. We talked about our meal so many times- We are already planning another trip so we can visit all 3 of their restaurants . Hands down the best Persian food we have come across. Very nice place for a high-end business or private dinner. The meat is high-quality (and halal). The ambience is calm and comfortable. If you have a large party it may takes a bit of time for food to be served but the quality of the food is good. Happy to return. We were there for the first time with four people. Personally, I had no previous experience with Persian dishes. So the very friendly waiter recommended the menu to us. Basically a cross-section of Persian cuisine. That was the best decision. The food was simply A+ with stars... The service from everyone involved was beyond reproach. From the beginning to the farewell, it was simply a fantastic experience. Thank you for this experience.
