Platz im Herzen - Frankfurt am Main

This cozy restaurant is just a block or two from Güthersburgpark in the Bornheim neighborhood. I took my best friend there to celebrate his birthday and we weren't disappointed! I ordered a steak with grilled vegetables and my friend ordered the "Loki" burger. In addition to being huge, my steak was expertly seasoned and cooked, and the platter was very artistically presented. The burger was tall and juicy (I stole a few bites) and came with a basket of fries. Although the portions were generous, my friend still had room for the chocolate souffle, which was also a work of art and reportedly delicious. However, as lovely as the food was, what impressed us the most was how gracious the young owner/chef was. He is clearly passionate about his food and knows how to make his guests feel welcome. If you're lucky, his sweet little dog will say hello.

I have been here for coffee and cakes which were lovey, I had expresso and cheese cake. This time there were 11 of us and we had food and drinks. I had a lovely steak and pasta, friends pasta with vegetables or fish, everyone said they enjoyed the food. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with explaining what they have. You can relax with a coffee, alcohol or food and not rushed.
