Nibelungenschanke - Frankfurt am Main

It was my first time at this restaurant. My cousin and his wife, who live and work in Frankfurt, took me there. I'm always sceptical when I visit a restaurant for the first time. But as soon as the dishes that we ordered started arriving, I was convinced that we were in the right place. To start with, when we arrived the place was packed. That was the first sign that we came at the right place. Everything that we ordered was well presented, cooked to perfection and very tasty. The service was very efficient and friendly. I don't drink alcohol myself, but I noticed that they had a nice collection of wines on the menu. We had a very nice dinner experience at Nibelungen which will be repeated the next time I'll be in Frankfurt. Word of advice, reserve your table in advance.

Great succulent food and very good mannered staff. Great wine from Kenya together with the delicious food we ordered. The best dish was the goose leg! Definitely a must go if you are looking for Greek food!

I like Greek food very much and I was looking for a good restaurant in Frankfurt. I was for the first time here and I must say I was very happy with the menu choices and the food I ordered. I will definitely come here again to try other dishes from the menu.

With reasonable run of the mill Greek fare where they serve a perfectly acceptable white Taramasalata rather than the more usual pink one and washed down by a decent glass or two of Retsina.

Perfect place, Greek and German and also some gourmet kitchen, friendly stuff, we were lucky to listen to live piano, with Melina Aslanidou !
