Lebanese beautifully executed .. recently oman trip to beirut I lived the direction of the Lebanese cuisine .. it is great to go it!
During the Heimtex fair so many restaurants were really busy, but since this is an annual fair and most restaurants are preparing for additional staff. the service was manageable. the waitress had to ask more than once to take the beverage order after we have been sitting for 20 minutes. 1.5 hours wait until all food comes to the table, including cold starter. eating was good. nothing special and definitiv the ridiculous waiting time not worth.
Very attentive service. excellent midstairs and good choice of freshly squeezed non-alkaline cocktails and weep from libanon and elsewhere. there is also a small terrace in the open. partly good for vegetarian and lamb dishes.
In place of the old L'Emir with the same menu but executed differently. The portions more generous and more attention to the flavours. Good options for the vegetarians the vine leaves stuffed with rice was not only well marinated but the subtle additions of the...Lebanese spices made the mark. The potato Harare was a dry diced potato dish with garlic olive oil and delicately spiced. The green beans cooked in tomato sauce was also well made. What makes this place stand out are the Lebanese wines not easily available in Frankfurt. An expensive place, treat yourself on special occasions and you won't be disappointed.
