Auch Wolfgang's - Frankfurt am Main

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were in Frankfurt for New Year Eve. The set menu was not extortionate and the quality was fantastic. We had a full 3 course meal topped with plenty of alchohol in between, the food was very very good...and the service fantastic, helpful attentive staff given it was new years eve and they were very busy. I enjoyed it so much i have recommended it to friends/colleagues who visit Frankfurt and we will definitely return when we are next in Germany

Went to this restaurant one evening with a few colleagues, based on a recommendation from another local colleague. We really enjoyed it the food was great, especially the selection of starters we had. There was no English menu, but the German menu was relatively...easy to work out, especially with willing help from the friendly waiter. Would be happy to go back if and when I am back in Frankfurt. I find it hard to understand why there are two one star German language reviews here someone with an axe to grind, perhaps. Ignore them and give this place a try.

We have been there 2 weeks ago with our 2 kids ages 8 and 10 for launch. The place is isolated from the main street in a quiet and nice decorated alley. The menu, in English !! is large and promising. We couldn’t find anything...for the kids therefore we’re about to leave. When we shared the problem with the waiter, we were asked what we would like to have for the kids although it isn’t in the menu and without second thought he accepted our request. The kids had chicken schnitzel and tuna steak with pasta and the enjoyed it very much. We enjoined our food too.

I find it difficult to understand why there are two German-speaking one-star reviews - someone who might have an axe to grind. ignore them and try this place.
