Sorriso Ristorante Bar - Frankfort

We haven't been back to this restaurant in a few years, but we finally made a return visit today. I decided to try the special chicken tetrazzini, but unfortunately, it didn't feature the same creamy sauce I've enjoyed at other places. I was quite disappointed. My daughter, who wasn't very hungry, ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. It was a big salad, but there was hardly any chicken in it. On the other hand, my wife's meal was good. I'm a fan of Italian restaurants and usually love the music, but tonight they played Spanish music, which was barely audible—mostly just "La Bamba" and "Tequila." I wonder if the place is under new management? My waitress was very friendly, and everyone helping her was fantastic, but I don't know what went wrong with the food this time, as we've always enjoyed it in the past. I always consult Yelp reviews before trying out a new restaurant, but I think the posted menu photos should be taken down. The prices are much higher than what’s displayed. Each entree was about $9 more, which is quite a difference. Because of this, I have to deduct a star for being overpriced, especially for pasta, especially since they don’t include a soup or salad. However, the food was quite good, and the bread was especially nice. The portion sizes were satisfying, and the service was excellent. It’s definitely worth a visit if you have a generous budget.

The food was absolutely delicious, earning a perfect five stars. The service was also exceptional, and the ambience of the restaurant contributed to a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!
