Buford's Bbq Bourbon - Frankfort

Baby back ribs seem warmed over and dry. The dusted cottage fries are more like chips. They were quite salty and not fresh or crisp. Baked beans have no flavor. Mac Cheese was bland and again dry. Green beans were OK. Chicken wings had a strange texture. I wish I could find something positive but it just wasn't the case. My best guess is that the food is pre-made and sits under a heat lamp until sold.

What a clunker. They advertise being open until 8pm. Just ordered AND PAID FOR Grubhub order. Just got email that my lrder was cancelled due to the restaurant being closed. Oh and even though it took 3-5 seconds for my payment to complete it will now take 3-5 business days to see the refund. A complete joke and cant wait to pass this on word of mouth. You could even see the poor Grubhub driver making their way to the restaurant.

Just moved into the area, thought we would try them. Picked sandwiches up and drove 5 min home. Pulled pork beef brisket meat was cold, not even slightly warm. Coleslaw is nasty. Husband drove back with his. I was hungry so I ate mine cold. Got his sandwich refunded. Will NEVER go there again.

Extremely delicious food. My husband met the owner, Burford himself, and said he was an extremely pleasant man who took great pride in his business. The food was amazing! We loved the pork belly but ends and the brisket. We will most definitely be back! Best BBQ around and wonderful customer service.

What a great surprise this place is! We picked up a take out order with a variety of items and loved it all. The Buford’s Behemoth Brisket Burger and the Brisket Sandwich were fantastic and loved the macaroni and cheese and baked beans. We ordered the Smothered Cottage Fries and ribs and could barely eat them because we were stuffed (the portions are huge! but they were delicious, as were the sauces. Side note: We realized after we got home that we were missing a half rack of ribs. When I called, they couldn’t have been nicer about it and insisted on delivering a full rack of ribs, despite the fact that I said it wasn’t necessary. They were here in 15 minutes, piping hot! Outstanding customer service and amazing food. I hope Buford’s is here to stay!
