We just drove through this beautiful little village. Houses are all the same Swiss style and the views are spectacular.
Quiet place and beautiful surroundings. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Staff was friendly professional and very helpful.Rooms: Clean spacious ,well equipped.
Great spot for hiking . We picked this resort for the location to be close to the trails and not to far for other excursions . The restaurant and bar was closed due to the pandemic aftermath of no staff . We did not mind as we went into the town and picked up anything we needed .
The check-in process was smooth, with no issues whatsoever. Our room, number 224, was on the second floor near the elevator. It opened into a cozy kitchen, dining, and living area. While it was small, it met our needs perfectly. The kitchen featured a sink and dishwasher in an island, along with a full-sized fridge, stove, and microwave along the wall. There were plenty of dishes for six people, and the dining table had six chairs. The sofa in the living area doubled as a bed, which was convenient. The master bedroom was spacious, featuring a king bed that was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. There was also a large closet and a chest of drawers. The bathroom was small but included a standard tub. The second bedroom had two twin beds and another compact bathroom. I have to highlight how clean everything was—kudos to the housekeeping team! The carpets were new, and the furnishings and appliances seemed modern. The bathrooms had been oddly remodeled; while the fixtures and sinks were new, the tiles were older. Still, this didn’t affect our experience negatively. One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning, but I packed some fans just in case. Surprisingly, we didn’t need them because there were oscillating fans mounted on the walls in both bedrooms and the living room. We simply opened the windows, turned on the fans, and were comfortable. The location of the resort is fantastic—right at the base of Cannon Mountain. We enjoyed riding the tram to the top one day for breathtaking views. It’s situated about equally between Lincoln and Littleton along I-93, both of which offer plenty of interesting shops and restaurants. We visited Littleton one day and had a delightful lunch at The Coffee Pot, a quaint little diner with excellent food. Our trip was all about relaxation, and we achieved just that. The resort features an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, which looked inviting, but we preferred to enjoy walks and the tranquility around us instead. There was always plenty of hot water, an abundance of towels (with two opportunities to exchange them during our stay), and ample space to spread out. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for another opportunity to return. While it’s not a luxury resort or right in the heart of the action, this place provided us with a lovely long weekend that was just what we needed!
