Peking Chef - Fox Point

I ordered a curry dish at the restaurant. The vegetables were undercooked and there was something crispy and burnt in my dish that was unexpected. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.

I have to say, this is the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. How do you mess up sweet and sour? By including completely inedible pieces of grit and gristle in the dish. I would not recommend this place at all, even though it has a 4.3 star rating.

I had expected a larger portion for the price. The standout dish was the eggplant with garlic sauce shrimp. The lar nar with bark meat, salt pepper garnel, and general tso chicken were decent but not exceptional. There is also a 3.5% credit card fee. The ingredients were fresh, but overall nothing particularly special.

This restaurant is our standby for reliable Cantonese cuisine. Yesterday there were no cloaks in the Shrimp egg rolls. the house fried rice had 3 garnel and tiny morsel of bark and pork. the house special egg foo young had no garnelen, no pork and no bark that could be seen visible. very disappointing. also, when I took up eating, the lady asked if I said it was an extra 3.5% charge to use a credit card instead of cash! I told her no one told me, and she charged me the 3.5% anyway.

This is without a doubt the worse Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. We were given the wrong order which I discovered after driving all the way home. I called and was told by a worker they would replace it but I live 20+ minutes away and was tired at the end of a workday. They told me I could get a refund. or they could make it again tomorrow. When my husband arrived the next day, he was told we would not get a new dish or get a refund. Apparently, it was our fault The woman behind the counter did not understand much English and I did clarify my order three times for her. When my husband threatened to write a poor review the man remade the order but did not refund the difference in price. The dish was awful. Undercooked noodles and was a sloppy mess thrown in a take-out container. Avoid at all costs. Try King's Wok just down the street. Delicious food Friendly people.
