I wish I could give this place zero stars. We ended up getting food poisoning after dining here. There were subtle warning signs, like how they pick up and refill everyone's dirty cups at the same time. Before I left, I went to the restroom and saw a cook coming out of the cramped communal bathroom after what seemed like a terrible experience. I held my breath to use the toilet, and when I finished, I realized there was no soap available. As I was leaving, I noticed that the small handwashing sink was being used to defrost shrimp in water.

The initial bill we received was $49.16, and after some back and forth, the “corrected” receipt came to $48.06. We had to argue to get this adjustment, and our waitress rolled her eyes, saying, “this is all we can do,” while pointing to the higher receipt. Despite the fact that my in-laws live right next to the restaurant and we are only about eight minutes away, we will not be returning. I cannot recommend this place; the food was lacking, and the service was sadly subpar. The behavior of the waitress was unacceptable, and I have never experienced such disrespect. — EDITED TO ADD — After the owner's response to my review, I decided to revise my initial rating and added two stars for a total of three. My husband and I returned to the restaurant to collect the refund the owner offered after my review. Although he wasn’t present, he communicated with me through the waitress’s phone. We received our full refund, and he sincerely apologized, mentioning that he had made changes to his staff. That's how to manage a situation well. I truly appreciate his efforts to rectify things. We might consider giving them another chance and visiting for dinner soon. I wanted to acknowledge the owner's responsiveness and show my gratitude for his commitment to addressing our negative experience. Thank you!

Food was great and fair prices. What stuck with me the most was the waitress. We went today wed may 17th and she was the BEST waitress I have seen a very long time. She went out of her way to make our dining experience memorable and will definitely be going back

Was good. Lately my to go order is always cold and never comes with hot sauce. Who wants tacos with no sauce???
