Creperie La Duchesse D Anne - Fougères

During a busy lunchtime the service was still efficient, eating was good. reasonably favorable right before the closed it was a great selection at the venue

Just outside the lock that is brilliant, and so very comfortable. just straight crepes and galettes, a few other choices. good enough, not fantastic. comfortable

My family and I were looking for a lunch place after visiting the very impressive castle in town. Within meters of the entrance was this excellent creperie. We ordered galettes for our main meal (including a goat cheese, honey and ham) and each one...was excellent. We also had a couple of cups of the local cider. Nice balance of sweet and dry. Finally, we chased them with a couple of dessert crepes. I’d recommend anything with the home made caramel. It was a far better experience than expected and a great way to end our visit in Fougères.

The food was good however the service was a little slow. Would hate to go at busy times of year. I don't think they would cope at all when full to capacity. Staff a little lax at follow on service.

We have eaten here on a few occasions and found the staff pleasant and the food reasonable.Obviously because of its location there is a great demand for tables but we have found that although sometimes there is a bit of a wait it is worth...it because the food is worth waiting for.
