Sal's Pizza - Fossland

There's tons of pizza in Kenosha.And this is another Little gem in a small Big Town.They no longer allow you to eat inside that's a bummer via the economy or personal reasons it's still a great place for takeout pizza and more.

After reading all the 5 star reviews on this restaurant, we thought we'd give it a try. The person taking my phone order was very nice, as was the cashier when I picked up our 14 cheese and sausage pizza with thin crust. The pizza smelled delicious in the car as I was driving home. I thought for sure I found a pizza that I was going to enjoy. I was, sadly, disappointed. I realize everybody's taste for pizza is different. I found it to have a rather bland taste. The sausage wasn't flavorful, like most Italian sausage usually is. The thin crust wasn't what I would consider thin, and although it wasn't a soggy crust, it was a very tough crust. Definitely not thin and crisp.I just don't understand all of the rave reviews and, I will not return. So sorry Sal's, I really wanted to love it.

You can't go wrong with Sal's pizza! Anything in the menu is always delicious. Try the Salfredo pizza! You will not be disappointed.

I can only comment on the food really. I have never sat there and dined in. I will say the pizza is one of my favorite here in Kenosha. Have trued several of their crusts and styles. Delicious each one! My go to is the greek lite. Definitely recommend this place.

My new FAVORITE pizza, love this place. Staff is so nice. Pizza is always hot when it’s delivered too!! Quick delivery too!
