Au Vieux Moulin - Fosses-la-ville

I booked a table for Friday night at this restaurant through the internet for a surprise outing with my friend. I received a confirmation email and a reminder text message, so everything seemed professional. However, when we arrived at the scheduled time of 7pm, we found the door closed. This was a major disappointment as there was no advance warning. I am not inclined to visit this restaurant again.

The restaurant offers high quality dishes served on beautiful plates with excellent service. The personalized attention at the end of the meal was a nice touch. However, we were disappointed to find out that lunch was not available on weekends, as this was not clearly communicated. We discovered the restaurant based on a recommendation from a nearby castle, which we had planned to visit after enjoying our meal there, only to find out that lunch was not an option on Saturdays. While we understand the reasons behind this decision, we believe it is a missed opportunity for the restaurant. One small downside was that the restroom facilities could use some improvement.

We had a wonderful experience dining at your restaurant with an excellent Pascal menu. We hope you will keep up the great work and not make any changes. Thank you for a delightful meal. Yvette and her family.

We don't care about us at the old mill, we found door close, so we can't eat and we called leaving a message because no answer to the phone! What service???????I will not fail to report it on tripadvisor!!

For a surprise it was a surprise: book a table for a Friday night via internet to spend a pleasant time with my friend. receiving confirmation by mail and a reminder by sms until then everything is professional. but to discover when the door closes to the time scheduled for me is a great first! an imponderable is possible but the minimum would have been to prevent not ready to reiterate the experience.
