The food is basic pub food. Not recommended for those with coeliac, even although they mark GF on the menu they don’t really have any allergy protocols. It’s a shame as it’s a nice pub, suitable for dogs too.
Noone who gf can eat here for dinner, their gf menu (which is a joke! Can't be offered after 6pm, their own opinion of the gf bread is we don't want to give you it it's sh*t. I asked if the soup was gf and df free before, was served the soup with croutons in it obviously not gf and bread and butter, not gf or df. Not one single gf beer in offer. Just avoid it you won't be catered for you'll just be disappointed.
Allergens clearly marked on menu. GF page in the menu, but turns out they do not have a dedicated fryer which means the fish and chips and other fried foods are not suitable for celiacs. Ended up having a baked potato.
The food is basic food. Not recommended for those with celiac disease, even if they mark GF on the menu, they do not have any allergy protocols. Both of my nieces work in this pub and both have advised never to bring their celiac uncles here! It is a shame as it is a nice pub, also suitable for dogs.
