They kindly allowed us to place our order through the drive-thru, as the employees inside literally “didn’t care.” Fast forward to today, when I arrived and saw the same two employees from the drive-thru. They stared at me through the closed door for ten minutes while I knocked, confirmed the opening time, and raised my hands to indicate that I was waiting to be let in. They even laughed amongst themselves during this time. After ten minutes, I took my place in the only line available, with four cars ahead of me. When I finally reached the window, I was told they wouldn’t serve me unless I waited for the line of cars to disappear first. At this point, I had already spent 20 minutes just trying to place a single order, and the line was still moving slowly. I had limited time for breakfast, and my work crew was scheduled to call in five minutes. Thanks for the non-service. If there were a more negative option, I would choose that. I understand that staffing can be tough, but I suggest they update their posted hours to accurately reflect what they can achieve. It's unacceptable that the staff mocked a customer who simply wanted to have breakfast. Waiting at a closed door while the staff hides, then being sent back to the drive-thru only to wait again, and ultimately being denied service is frustrating. I appreciate Tim Horton’s, but this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at one of their locations. I was told Linda is the general manager here. Linda, if you read this, I have the entire exchange on video and would like to send it to you.
This restaurant is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the Boston cream-filled donut.
This was our first time visiting a Tim Hortons, and it was a disappointing experience. I've never encountered such an unfriendly coffee shop before. We waited about 10-15 minutes just for our order to be taken. It felt like the person taking orders was constantly running off to prepare them, leaving customers waiting for someone else to take their place. The young man who eventually helped us was pleasant, which was a nice touch. However, I’m not sure if this location often runs low on options, but there were only a few items available by 10:15. We ordered what we could, but then experienced another long wait as our items were brought out one by one. It was quite strange.
This place is always from a majority of their donuts, no matter how early I come. Last time I put a job for 6 donuts, I told them how I wanted and everything was cool. Once I got into the window to pay, they tell me they're out, what would I want to change it with? (I would rather have said before that I could watch the menu to see what other species they had) I paid 6 and got only 5 donuts I didn't even want. skip this place when they are looking for donuts!
I once visited a Tim Horton 's in Winnipeg and thought the donuts and Timbits were amazing. When I had them here in the States for the first time a few years ago, they didn 't taste, at all, the same. Went this morning and, yeah, nothing 's changed... Decent, but not knock your socks off quality.
