The menu offers a wide variety of options, all of which are both amusing and mouthwatering. We decided to try some land-based dishes, opting for chicken and pork, but the seafood and vegetable selections also looked incredibly tempting. I highly recommend the Moose side salad—it's a delightful combination of spinach, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, and a balsamic vinaigrette, creating a perfect sweet and sour balance. We will definitely be returning!
I'm always on the lookout for new dining experiences, and I'm really glad I discovered this restaurant. At first, I was a bit hesitant because it identified as a seafood place on Google, and seafood isn’t really my favorite. However, after browsing their online menu, I decided to give it a try. I’m so pleased that I chose to dine in rather than just getting takeout as I usually do. The atmosphere was fantastic! I loved how the dining area resembled a fishing shanty, while the bar had more of a hunting cabin vibe. At least, that's how it appeared to me. It was a truly inviting and cozy spot. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delightful. I will definitely be returning!
Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. Everything I've tried has been just average, nothing worth recommending. Last night, we started with cheese sticks, which were cooked but not melted on the inside; they were merely warm rather than gooey like you would expect. For the main courses, we had blackened mahi tacos and a flatbread pizza. The fish tacos were disappointing—very slim on the fish with long, thin filets. While they were blackened, they lacked any real flavor; I would have preferred frozen fish sticks over them. The side of sweet potato fries was fine, but pretty standard. Next came the flatbread pizza, which had plenty of toppings but still fell short of being remarkable. The sauce lacked any real punch, and the toppings were just ordinary. The flatbread itself didn't offer anything unique; while the outer crust was golden brown and crispy, the bottom was limp and chewy without being doughy. I genuinely like this place and will return, but for now, I think we'll stick to appetizers, as those seem to be the safest bet at this point.
Stopped by for lunch and had a great beef brisket sandwich recommended by the bartender. Awesome choice. Highly recommend for lunch stop and can't wait to try their famous crab cakes next time!
