Sun Rise Cafe - Fort Wayne

We were looking for a breakfast place that was more than just a common chain restaurant. I have read some reviews from this place and we decided to review it. When we arrived, it was PACKED! People stand outside, people stand inside. We both looked at each other and were like we wouldn't come in here. We went in and were greeted by the owner who said it would be a 15 minutes wait or we were welcome to sit at the bar. We went quickly to the bar. All I can say is WOW! We saved this place! The employees were top notch! The food is amazing! Everyone was as friendly and worked together as a well-oiled machine. This place reminded me of some of my favorite divers in NY. Very recommended to check out this place!

We absolutely loved this charming café! Our food was amazing and so was the service. We would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant! The skill was better than First Watch! I wish we were living closer, we would do this a weekly thing if we did!

Really nice breakfast. I had the meat lover phone, with a cup of sausage sword on the side $1.49). I'm picky about my sausage sword. It was good. The first time we were there. We'll be back when we're back in the area.

Had a great breakfast on the way through Fort Wayne. Great and fast service. Nice portions and clean.

Great food (sandwich)with great service. Had a reuben with onion rings. Reuben was beyond delicious! Onion rings seemed like the frozen ones, definitely not handmade or tasty. Waitress was excellent! Brought everything we needed, refilled our drinks and checked back when needed. I would recommend this restaurant, no problem, just don't get the onion rings.
