Lotus Thai - Fort Walton Beach

When I was there to get it, they never submitted my order so I had to wait. It wasn't so long, but I had to get in for lunch, so I was in a hurry to get back to work. I ordered the Papaya salad and red curry with Tofu (I am vegetarian). When I wanted to pay on Zomato, the menu said it was $7.95, she told me it was $9.95. I thought the prices have just risen since the listing here, so I didn't worry about it. While waiting for my food, I looked over the menu and the Papaya salad was $8,95. Okay, it was just a dollar, so no biggy, but I wish I could have paid the right price. It was about 12 a.m. and while I was waiting for my food, the place was pretty crowded and many were ready to eat. I took that as a good sign. One thing that bugged me is that there were no clean tables! There were 7 empty tables when I waited and NONE was cleaned in the 20 minutes I waited. It's kind of rough. Papaya was worth the price confusion. I would have preferred the right price, but it was YUMMY! Just the right amount of heat and they weren't vaccinated. The best Papaya salad I had in a while. I liked how I got a choice as I wanted my tofu to be cooked in red curry. Baked or soft. I've never given the opportunity! The red curry with tofu had a LOT of lemongrass, but still good. I like my red curry with a lot of coconut milk to make it creamy and that was not really creamy at all, but this is just a personal preference. Still very good. I couldn't eat much because I was so full of Papaya salad, so I'm glad to eat it for dinner. I'll go back. I'm so glad it's close to my work. The menu has many elements that you can choose from. I can't wait to try more!

Sooo good. I've eaten here for the first time. I had the Pad Ped Tofu, and OMG was some of the best Thai food I ever had! Very fragrant and tasteful. Next time I'll be hotter! YUMMMM!
