Roy's Waikiki - Fort Shafter

Sad to say we were very disappointed. Every dish was room temperature, ribs saturated in sauce, macadamia crusted Swordfish shockingly tasteless. And the pineapple upside cake literally had crumbs for the cake. Service was very good and the staff were very pleasant and hard working, but not a good experience.

The food was spectacular ! The service was also great, however it was almost too much service, our waters were refilled the moment we took a sip which was a little distracting from us enjoying the ambiance. With that being said our butter fish and sushi were to die for and the drinks were also fantastic.

If I could give this place 100 I would!!! WOW! From service to Food... 10/10. We started with blackens ahi, my husband and I split Ron's special... the swordfish was my favorite. We finished with molten lava cake and champagne! Absolutely Fabulous!

We visited Roy's in Honolulu. The plae we were seated was not great-kind of out of the way. the food options were disappointing from the last timne we went and the food we did order was excellent. The service was outstanding but we were disappointed with the food options. If you like sushi and sushimi, this is a good place for you. If you want lobster or shrimp dishes, forget it.

From the moment we were seated the staff was attentive to all our needs and questions. My wife has some mild food allergies. The chef accommodated her every need. Perfect meal and perfect atmosphere!!
