Mimi's Peruvian Cuisine - Fort Shafter

Best meal I've had on my trip! Wholeheartedly recommend the mahi mahi- we had the mahi mahi ceviche and the pescado a lo macho (seafood and fried mahi mahi in a rich sauce) and both were fantastic. The fried plantains were great too, crisp and salty. The space is fairly small, but we were able to get a seat without waiting on a Wednesday evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Amazing restaurant me and family enjoyed every dish

Lomo Saltado is my favorite. Plantains were really good at the first time I ordered. But the second order was more like tostones which is not really what I was looking for. I felt disappointed because $9 and getting green plantains instead of the ripe one is kind of tough. I didn’t even eat it, had to throw away because was dry and unflavored. But their flavors are really good. Enjoyed my passionfruit mousse. And also love the service, they always call when they don’t have stuff. So I highly recommend this place.
