Their menu features a host of menu items that are vegetarian. Items we ordered: avocado toast, croissant, and their super green fruit bowl. Both were sublime, and I think the green bowl would be vegan if not for the honey. My only comment is that they seem to burn their shots a bit, but that could be a style thing for them. Their commitment to local arts is fantastic. We arrived one day and there was an art exhibit; the next day it had switched to another. This place is incredible and I wish we lived closer to it.Update: keep in mind that they stop serving food at 1:00. We went back for another round of the super green bowl and were denied. :)Vegetarian options: Fantastic array of vegetarian and possibly vegan items
The food is excellent, nothing is too sweet or too greasy. Feeling good after. They were understaffed and there was a line, girl was taking orders and making coffee at the same time. How surprised I was to get our food and drinks for group of 4 people super fast :)Thank you!
My visit to ARS Café in Honolulu was a delightful immersion into the city’s thriving coffee culture and artistic ambiance. The café’s setting, with its minimalist decor and local art displays, created a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The menu featured a selection of expertly brewed Hawaiian coffee, artisanal pastries, and breakfast items, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail. Sipping a macchiato while appreciating the local artwork was a true pleasure. The café’s commitment to quality coffee and support for local artists was evident in every sip and every piece of art on display. Whether you’re starting your day with coffee or experiencing the artistic vibe, ARS Café is a must-visit for a taste of Honolulu’s coffee culture and creative energy.
I headed to the store while taking a morning walk from my hotel in Waikiki. The Super Green Ball I was looking for was a spinach-based smoothie, but it wasn't grassy at all and went perfectly with the banana and strawberry toppings, and the refreshing sweetness was addictive! I finished it in no time, enjoying the texture of the nuts and cereal. There are only 4 seats outside, and you can see Diamond Head from the window seats inside. At around 9am on December 27, 2023, we were the only Japanese people there. Although it was delicious, I also liked that it wasn't crowded like the restaurants in Waikiki.
Super green bowl was so delicious, very filling, and is great value. great views to sit outside
