Kari Berry Bakery Bagel Cafe

I called the restaurant at 10 a.m. and spoke with a woman who informed me that they were busy with a large number of delivery orders and asked for a bit of time. When I inquired about how long it would take for my order to be ready, she estimated 30 minutes. I arrived at 10:35 a.m. and approached the counter to check on my order for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel. The staff member went to the back to confirm my order, only to return and tell me they were out of plain bagels. I then opted for a waffle bagel instead. Unfortunately, it took another 25 minutes to prepare my order. When I finally got home to enjoy my sandwich, I discovered that the egg was burnt, and instead of pepper jack cheese, I received American cheese. I don’t think I’ll be coming back again.

While the selection is good, the owner's poor response to constructive criticism is concerning. It feels like they prioritize being a local business over the quality of their products, which is quite ridiculous. I’ve said it before: the bagels here just aren’t good. They’re hard as rocks and not worth your time. Personally, I won’t be coming back. If you want a good bagel, go to Brooklyn Water Bagels after trying one here—you’ll see the difference!

We went to Bagels with my parents and had a mixed experience. While we appreciated the atmosphere, the bagels were small and as hard as rocks. The biggest disappointment, though, was the coffee. We ordered a small black coffee, expecting a fresh, piping hot cup, but what we got was cold and likely brewed the day before. My father was so displeased that he spat it out on the pavement. We ended up having to go to a 7-Eleven to get a decent cup of coffee instead.

With kari ordered for an office dinner. absolutely everything was perfect. from picking up to the people who enjoy their meal. I would get her 10x to eat or catering back! thank you!

Kari Berry runs this bakery to an extent. The food is order-able, and the coffee is there. I had an experience here. Bagels are made in the back somehow, can’t really tell. Takes time to get food once ordered, as the case with other stores. There were other people there, take that for what you will. My bagel had a taste too, take that for what you will. The store was prepared and decorated for every occasion you could think of, how festive! Kari really does her thing, take that for what you will. Okay, now I am speaking directly to Kari: no one calls owners before leaving bad reviews, it’s 2022. Blessings, can I have my free bagel now?
