Fort Pierce Beach Resort

Stopped here for one night while traveling to Miami. We called late and they had a room. The young lady at the front desk was so super nice. This is an older beach hotel so nothing fancy but still nice and our room was very clean. The restaurant had pretty good food and great drinks. Karaoke at the bar that night so that was fun. Beautiful location on a beautiful beach. I would stay here again. Again can't say enough about the service.

The only good things about my recent stay here were the great service at the beachside restaurant downstairs and the pretty view. I wish I would have known that Ft. Pierce is a nasty ghetto and this hotel attracts all types of sketchy people. People are belligerently drunk at their beach bar all day long..which means one less place to chill and relax. The bartender doesn't know when to stop serving someone which makes it unpleasant for others, so we avoided that bar altogether, I even hated that I had to walk through all the drunks at that bar in order to get to the beach access! The drunkards won't even move out of your way!! THEN..I was awaken every night at 2am-3am with blasting music so loud, it actually shook my room. We were told that happens regularly at the beach park downstairs and no one really does anything about it. Cops come and chase people away, then they come right back. It was INSANE! the room was very dark and depressing and very outdated, not even a hook in the bathroom to hang a wet towel. the 'balcony room is actually a shared balcony and there's always someone hanging out right in front of your window being loud. I never saw a maid for 3 days and the main office is regularly closed for breaks throughout the day. the walls are so paper thin that I could hear my upstairs neighbor watching the news at 5am! It woke me up! Oh and The office deactivated our key card a day early and when we went to go rectify it, the office was CLOSED of course! There was a phone number posted on the door if you needed help. So ridiculous. PS- don't shop at the local supermarket unless you want a crackhead following you around the store trying to rob you. Needless to say, this hotel is one we will never visit again!! Definitely not for families.

Not even a little impressed with the quality of the food or service.

Cancelled my confirmed reservation just hours after I made it. Not very happy as this was for our 51st anniversary. I did get a prompt refund after I contacted VRBO. Glad I reached out to confirm after reading the many poor reviews about lost or cancelled reservations.
