Mom's Kitchen - Fort McMurray

Wow, is all I have to say. Will never step foot In there ever again. Never got to the food, amazing how just one employee can turn business away for good. Poor poor service by the cook. Waitress was great.

Great people. Great food. Best place to eat if you want to feel like your eating some nice home cooking. Plus best fillipino food in town

Not what it was back in the day when you paid for a little and got a lot on the food tasted very good and was owned by Russian people or something like that

I went to this restaurant and tried to order 2 side dishes. Unfortunately, the cashier seemed confused and struggled to understand my request. I requested tilapia and white rice as side dishes, but they were served on the same plate. The cashier kept glancing at the menu board, which is something I was taught never to do in my own restaurant. After 5 minutes of assuring her of my order, she finally entered it into their old cash register. I also asked for bottled water, expecting a brand like Dasani or Evian, but was charged $2.50 for a bottle of President's Choice water instead. The food was actually really good, with well-cooked crispy tilapia and tasty rice. The portion sizes were also generous.

I placed an order. When my meal came it was on a plate. I simply told the cashier that I needed it to go. She says to me, well, you didn't tell me, and went on to say that I must tell her because the order would be prepared directly onto the styrofoam. As she is talking the lady preparing the meal shouts that it's no big deal. The cashier continues telling me that its under new management. I told her that I've been to their store since the change in management. She then said she doesn't remember me, but next time I must tell her if my order is to go. I told her I don't need her to remember me. I walked out with my food as the cashier was cackling behind me. I will not be back.
