Fox Den Lounge - Fort McMurray

I enjoy the early morning breakfast at the edge of the gulf course. The food is good not the best but good, however the environment on the edge of the golf greenway and the fountain in the water course is great. The staff all work for the RM so there kinda laid back a bit to much, it unfortunate that this is not more important as a gem in this city.

Went to enjoy a nice afternoon on the patio with friends and after 20 minutes waiting for our drinks and not receiving half of what we ordered our food finally arrived ice cold. This is after we already had to go inside twice to find our server to ask for items. It wasn't until we went in one more time to pay our bill for our uneaten food that we finally got the attention of a manager and our food was taken care of. It's only the beginning of summer and I've already crossed this patio off my list of places I'd go.

The girls and I wanted to sit on a nice, relaxing patio on a beautiful day but unfortunately the atmosphere was ruined by the inexplicably terrible service. Our drinks took a (timed) 18 minutes, along with the fact that we didn't receive half of them. Our food order was taken at the same time as our drinks, and when the food did finally arrive, having no heat to it at all, we questioned if it was ever hot in the first place, and again, missing items. Unfortunately we had to go inside and flag down a manager in order to try and pay for our bill to leave; once we had her attention she so kindly offered to take care of our unconsumed items. This establishment is a classic example of why location is important, the fact that they are on a golf course is the only reason they have any customers in the first place. We will not be returning and will be recommending to anyone who mentions their plans of attending, that they do not due to the lack of experienced staff.

A small restaurant with a great patio. The food was outstanding, our group tried a variety of menu items and everyone really enjoyed all their choices.

The Fox Den had 10/10 the nicest patio in town. The drink menu is amazing. With great food on top of it all.
