Food was average. Acceptable. Would I say it was great or amazing?! Not really, not quite there. And price is a little for the stench 2 Uni I had. Food grade is not what I was imagining. Would I go there again? NoIf you’re just in the middle of nowhere and have no choice to cure your sushi cravings ? SureBut place is nice, family friendly. Cute lil toy from the machine on top.Cleanliness, not so much. The same towel was use to wipe everything. Table to disposable bin to tablet. A lil skeptical about the towel. This definitely could be compared to franchise in Japan.Parking: Strip mall
Different, quick, yummy and good prices. We enjoyed the sushi and ordered a few side plates like the crunchy chicken and the dessert which were great! Service is fast and the staff explains well how everything works for first timers like us. The only negative is the mall is located needs some upgrades and more parking. We had fun and tried a bunch of different things. All good! Will come back.
What a fun place! Honestly, I’ve only heard of horrible stories of conveyor belt sushi, and there isn’t even one in Manhattan. I was skeptical about this place, but my boyfriend, who has frequently visited the location in LA, raves about it. He was right, and we enjoyed a budget-friendly and yet fresh sushi here (this is coming from someone that regularly seeks out for omakase in the city). They don’t take reservations, so join their virtual waitlist on the app ahead of time. There are plenty of parking here. Once directed to a table, you can start picking off plates from the conveyor belt or order items directly from the electronic menu.Dont forget to order water and wait for the robot to deliver them!
...It's an average Sushi place that avails the quickest possible Sushi in and out restaurant experience. Nowhere offers faster service. Unfortunately, though the Sushi itself is average to above average, here's what a second visit confirms: The PROS: Nothing faster than this concept: A) As you're sitting down ask your human seating host for a couple of small soy sauce bowls, ginger, and wasabi and start grabbing plates. B) use the upper electronic menu touch screen to order beverages or special order items not typically found circling around on the conveyor. The quality of the seafood protein is good. Individual pieces are OK in size. Sushi rice quality, vinegar percentage, and temperature are good overall. And the entertainment value of watching sushi plates roll by along with their roving robot server helps suppress urges to reach for your mobile device. The CONS: Depending on where you sit along the conveyor belt route determines what's available to you. Strategically arriving during a slower business time avails seating closer to the beginning of the conveyor belt significantly increasing available choices (but you must ask for such seating). The actual conveyor belt sushi selection is understandably limited. To ensure minimum waste resulting from unselected sushi dishes it makes sense they'll only offer the most likely to be selected items. However, of the items they do offer, and again, their quality is average to above average. The Miso soup is simply not good. My (first generation) Japanese wife concludes it tastes as though it was prepared at too high temperature. Thus, overpriced. The hot Green tea could be better. The server robot delivering beverages, etc. makes its presence known by playing music that sounds cute at first, but becomes embedded in your brain as an ear worm that won't go away for a while. The music itself is also played too loud (but understandably so as it's likely a necessary method alerting guests it's in transit to its next destination). Will we return? You betcha! If you're super hungry and you've used their phone app to check out their current wait time prior to arrival (a good app that gives honest wait estimates), this place can't be beat for speed and decent quality. If you're not in a hurry, a better culinary and dining experience awaits (especially in Fort Lee).
