Even though we weren't expecting it, we found that it was one of the best buffets we have ever experienced. The food was incredibly tasty, the drinks were fantastic, and being able to watch the mermaids swim added a unique touch to the overall experience. We absolutely loved our time there and highly recommend it to others.
I heard about the Wreck Bar Sunday brunch on So-Flo Taste with Chef Michelle Bernstein so when we traveled to Ft. Lauderdale for the Winterfest Boat Parade me and my wife daughter went to the Wreck for brunch the next day. It was so special, the Mermaids began swimming at noon and really excited the room. A young girl wearing a mermaid dress was in her glory as the mermaid blew bubble kisses at her against the window. Three different mermaids swam and entertained during our stay and the last mermaid was a full bodied girl and the woman sitting next to us yelled "now that 's more my size and she ran up to get photos! The food was awesome, I started with the seafood station, jumbo shrimp, crab claws, ceviche grouper, scallop and tuna, wow was that good! Then I had the chef make me an omelet the way I wanted it, and endless ****** marys and mimosas added to the fun. We will be back in January with our in-laws for another delightful Sunday brunch.
The Sunday Brunch at the Wreck Bar was quirky and enjoyable! The wide variety of tasty food options and helpful servers made it a truly delightful dining experience!
The brunch featured a variety of delicious dishes such as lobster hash, jambalaya, and a selection of fresh fruits and cheeses.
