Village Cafe - Fort Lauderdale

Our meals took a long time to arrive despite there being only two tables in the restaurant. The food was pricey and underwhelming. We have no plans to come back in the future.

My friends and I went to this restaurant for breakfast. The dining area was spotless and the service was efficient and welcoming. The breakfast burrito was huge, I couldn't even finish it. Overall, it's a fantastic place to grab a quick and delicious breakfast.

This café is excellent. It is conveniently located just behind The Conrad Hotel where I was staying. We had dinner there and returned the next morning for breakfast. Our dinner waiter was fantastic - very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was quiet as it was a Thursday night with perfect weather. The food was delicious, I had the chicken parm and absolutely loved it. My husband had the salmon and he also enjoyed how moist and fresh it tasted. The prices were very reasonable. Breakfast was also great, especially the thick multigrain toast. My husband had the French toast made with the multigrain bread and it was so flavorful that no syrup was needed. We will definitely be returning every time we visit!

There was only one chef and one server in the restaurant, which was not busy. Despite waiting to be seated, we received no service and ultimately decided to leave. Our attempts to get the server's attention were unsuccessful as he did not even acknowledge us.

Extremely slow service. Bad food. Burnt steak. One cook. Good thing they weren’t busy. I’d hate to have one cook in a tiny kitchen cooking for a whole restaurant. Our meals for a table of 8 came out one at a time. Our kids literally fell asleep waiting for their food.
