The Original Subcafe - Fort Lauderdale

The second time there. Both experiences were excellent. The staff is super nice and the food is delicious. I had a Phillykäse Steak for the first time and a tuna sandwich for the second time. No complaints. Beautiful atmosphere will definitely be back in my new place

We often come here and it's a great family business of local Cuban Café. Great café con leche and the sub-café breakfast is always my favorite. We always sit on the old classic car table and my children love it.

All about this little subshop is legit. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere both inside and outside in the garden makes you want to cool out and eat. Your biggest problem is getting your sandwich. It is a hard choice - the Cuban steak sandwich or a traditional Cuban. If you didn't try the steak, do it! And big Cuban coffee choices. I wanted to live nearby...

It was Sunday the first day of daylight savings time and the weather was perfect for letting the fresh air and wind in this fabulous café! The breakfast and early lunch crowd were treated to the fabulous smooth sounds of Pamela the velvet voice Diggs! Yours truly was the the Mc . Either dining or waiting for their orders , all delighted in the music ,atmosphere and food . If you want great sandwiches , or breakfast which is served all day along with the best coffee in south Florida make the original café your dining location. Say hello to the Wolfpack and Ms. Diggs if you go on a Sunday!
