It was so good that when our daughter and husband arrived the next day we took them there. Again, we had a wonderful meal. Service was great, food was excellent! I had the Carbonara and my wife had the Veal marsala. They were so good that we ordered them the second time, not wanting to order something else which might have been less good! It is a year later (we live in Canada) and we are again driving to Ft. Lauderdale. Already we relish the thought of returning to Carlucci’s! it is worth the 1,500 mile drive!
My company ordered from here today. The driver dropped our food in the hallway. Luckliy there happened to be one of the staff in the hall or we would have never known they picked the rolls up off the floor and gave them to us. Not only that, when I called the manager to complain, He argued with me, yelled at me, told me his driver did not drop the rolls on the floor and ultimately hung up on me. The lasagna was smashed and we asked for another one. They replaced it with a dish that was $20 cheaper without discounting the price because the lasagna “would take too long to cook” Sad to say, but myself and my co-workers will NEVER go back. That is not customer service.
Glass of cheap Chianti was $7.95, should have asked – two glasses more that the meal. Linguini was not cut and a foot long. What does the owner think? Clients will actually return after having been ripped off, BTW server offered no help.
This place is a joke! They rip there employees off! Not to mention how dirty the place is. It’s about time there employees stand up and the fraud that has been committed. Nobody washes there hands, tons of drugs sold in this place it’s disgusting to hear such horrible things. I would not step foot in this **** hole to eat again not to mention i go into the bathroom and watching an employee walks out with out WASHING HANDS EW
My girlfriends and I went out for a night of no kids, dishes or chores. We do this once a month. We chose this restaurant that we go there for lunch usually. Its close to where we live and work. We ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer. I had Chicken Marsala, my friends ordered Mussels Marinara, Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Amore Salad, and Linguine with White Clam Sauce. We all agreed all our dishes were superd. Our waiter Mike was very nice and gave us many suggestions. We all wanted different things so we could try one anothers dishes. We had a great meal, relaxed and confortable atmosphere was perfect. This is a great place for the evening. We will be back again.
