While that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, the overcooked dishes and lack of seasoning really let it down. Even the brownie dessert was bland. To add to the experience, the dining area is set up outdoors in a backyard, complete with a bonfire in 80°F weather. They only accept cash, and they claim it's a fundraiser for the church across the street, though I have my doubts about that. You can make your own decision about it.
Parking is conveniently available across the street at a church, from where you can walk to the entrance to confirm your reservation. You can also purchase beverages like soda or bottled water (you’re welcome to bring your own wine or champagne), and you'll receive a colored bracelet. Once inside, you can choose your picnic table and let the kids explore the backyard, which features various chickens, roosters, and rabbits. The owner even takes the kids on a train ride during your visit. If you're feeling energetic, you can ring a bell for a free drink or swing on the swings while waiting. We opened our wine and enjoyed a chat while waiting. The first course began with a selection of soups, offering options such as vegan, corn and bacon, oxtail, shrimp, fish, chicken, and sausage, among others. You can customize your soup with toppings like scallions, peppers, chicharrones, and plantains. Don’t forget to try the little cheese breads or croutons for an extra hearty touch! After a moment to digest, a prayer is said, and then the main courses are served—again featuring a wide variety of dishes to satisfy vegans, meat lovers, and everyone in between. The spread included tomato flatbread, fresh pesto, Chihuahua cheese, spaghetti, oxtail, grouper, polenta, cauliflower salad, green salad, sausages, rice, poached eggs, and couscous, just to name a few. There was such an abundance of food that I can hardly remember everything! As you indulge and loosen your pants, be prepared for freshly brewed coffee, followed by an array of desserts. They offered an impressive selection, including brownies, flan, fudge, raspberry cheesecake, pies, mousse, fruit, whipped cream, and so much more. You'll definitely leave feeling quite satisfied! The concept of this restaurant is all about love and giving, as the proceeds go to their church. How wonderful is that?!
This is a fantastic place for family and community gatherings, thanks to the amazing food prepared by Regina and her husband Eliseo.
I had a fantastic dinner experience! The meal was delightful and the atmosphere was laid-back and uncomplicated. It’s a bring-your-own-beverage place, which makes it a great opportunity to connect with new people. Definitely worth getting on the waitlist!
This restaurant offers the best food and a wonderful atmosphere in a charming outdoor setting. My favorites include the beet soup, butternut squash soup, and oxtail soup. The selection of main dishes and desserts is also delicious. We keep returning whenever we have the chance. Regina is a warm and talented cook, and we have come to admire her and her entire family farm.
