Pan'e Dolci - Fort Lauderdale

First off, this place is CASH ONLY and I didn't see any signs to that effect when we came in, but luckily I had enough change on me to cover what we had ordered. I went in with some friends after we were cruising the beach at night. Almost every parking spot was full and there were plenty of people chatting it up outside, which was a good sign to me. When we went in, you could see the beautiful artisan quality of all of the baked goods. They also have a case of gelato, but I couldn't even look that direction once I locked onto the desserts. Had I not been on vacation I might have purchased some of the bread, which looked amazing, but instead my husband, friends, and I got a sampler of desserts. We tried a little of everything and it was ALL GOOD. It wasn't cheap, per se, with each pastry ranging from $2 to $4, but they were worth it, for sure. I've heard they have a really good lunch, but I will say I was BEYOND satisfied with dessert, and would gladly forgo my last supper for more pastries. Mmmmmm.....
