The front was brilliant with the shell wall, the usher ladies were super kouter and friendly. Once we sat a large server that shared wine and beverage options with us, followed by the starters. We took the picked cucumber, roasted brussel sprouts, veg tempura, sashimi platter to begin. The brussel sprouts was the star, with a beautiful honey sauce on the underside, which increases the roasted Brussels taste. The cucumbers were fresh and tasteful, but not amazing. Tempura was well broken and Veggie were used in good variety. For the main course I ordered the avacado veggie sushi, and my friends ordered some chic meat sushi plates (checkout the video). At the end we had the donuts that came with three sauces and was a big close. The ambience, the service and above all the crowd was all very welcoming, warm and left you want to come back! The effort to get there and spend the time for some good unforgettable times.
I would give ten stars if it was possible. We wanted to try something different than the typical steakhouse. This was the perfect choice. An absolutely stunning restaurant with extra welcoming staff. The cocktails are listed as 5 of the 6 different Japanese tastes- sweet, sour, salty, umami and bitter. We started with a sweet and also a sour. Both were delicious but we both preferred the sour if asked to choose. You’ll have the option to order à la carte where your order will arrive separately at various times or Omakase style. Omakase is a Japanese phrase, used when ordering food in restaurants, that means 'I 'll leave it up to you ' (from Japanese 'to entrust ' . We chose à la carte and ordered: Edamame- Sea Salt $7: this seemed to be boiled versus steamed but I preferred. Tuna Crispy Rice- wakame seaweed, togarashi chili, tosazu jelly $20: a crunchy bottom with a smooth tuna top. Pork Belly Skewers- duroc pork, tomoto-yuzu jam 2PC $12: cooked perfectly and nice balance with the jam. Japanese Wagyu Beef $25/PER OUNCE- HOT STONE ISHIYAKI (3 ounce minimum 6 ounces $150: this was a fun experience where you place each piece of meat on the hot stone for just a few seconds to sear it with provided sesame oil. Then also included other sauces and salts. There’s even some grilled vegetables and pickled cucumbers. Mix and match until your heart desires. Beef Short Rib Entree- gochujong demi, shallot, red pepper $45: the absolute best short rib with a dark and salt au jus. Also a creamy sauce with some small shallot slices and red pepper slices. Ribeye Miso Entree- pinenut miso, grilled vegetables, shiso dressing $66: the most tender ribeye you’ll ever have. The flavors are just perfectly balanced and everything just melts together in every bite. O toro sashimi $15: I’ve tried just standard toro and enjoyed it but wanted to try these even fattier cuts. Chu toro sashimi $11: in the end I prefer right in the middle with the Chu toro cut. We ordered two desserts to go: the doughnuts- anko ganache, peanut butter, matcha anglaise $10 and the matcha milk chocolate cake- mascarpone sabayon, candied pine nut, white peach sorbet $13. Doughnuts are a safe and delicious option for anyone but the matcha cake is light, creamy and fantastic as a adventurous diner. This was absolutely amazing and we will have to be back again. Thank you Janae for providing us excellent service and helping us through all the options. You were delightful and made this an enjoyable experience.
This is the best restaurant in the Seminole Hard Rock hotel. At the suggestion of my server I went with a tasting style menu and loved everything I had. Excellent sushi, and the Wagu tacos are off the chain good. You are going to spend a bit here, but it's well worth the cost.
Ate at the Sushi Bar in KURO before a concert Hard Rock Live. Service was incredible, sushi amazing, one better the next. All the suggested favs were so good. Will be back soon!!!
Lucky to get 6pm reservations at the bar concert night. Was greeted and guided to table for two instead. Then our server Sabastiana was amazing explaining the menu and great recommendations. The manager greeted me at the end of the meal and made sure everything was to my satisfaction.
