The only thing I can negatively comment is the number of sauces that they give for the amount of food ( rice, meat, plantains) etc. Today I went in and ordered the meal below and received 1 sauce. When I asked for another sauce, I was asked to pay $0.80 cents plus taxes. I don't think that given with the amount of rice 1 sauce is sufficient, especially when people order ?dry? Plate (fried fish, griot) etc. Instead of accepting people like ?pikliz? Customers should be asked what they prefer, because in my situation I like Pikliz (forgot) if I had received an extra sauce. This whole situation is as if someone gave 1 package of ketchup for a order of pommes. I understand that we live in a capitalist world, but there should be a place where companies draw a line as they can monetize on objects.
Whewwww. When I first came to this restaurant, it was amazing that was before Kovid. Recently ordered by Uber, it was evil. The bungalow was hard af and didsteless. The Diri jon jon tasted old... the Mac n cheese was less season. Quality has fallen. Hopefully they'll be redeemed. Covid was hard for everyone!
I ordered extra meat and got extra fat. The quality of this place has really fallen. When I started coming here, the portion size was sufficient, but now they have a habit of scaling back to the food, even if you order extra. I expect what I pay and not for your inability to deal with inflation. In addition, they had a good customer service and had a very nice packaging, which initially attracted me to the place, even if it is in a dumped small shopping area. But boy, how things have changed. When I called to let them know how unsatisfactory I was with their service and food ratio, they asked me to come back. I thought it would be to make things right, but instead the opponent asked me back to a sign that said check your food before you go. They gave me back when they told me about the phone. In fact, what tells me is that they have several customers, their products back for one reason or another. I'm sure for similar reasons. I asked to talk to the manager, and he explained how he had his sections (lol) further minimizing the situation instead of me, the customer, with better service. He further explained that I got what I paid for, although I paid extra. And so I told him that this was not the quality of the food or customer service I received when I started coming here and therefore if he did not correct the problem, I would never come back. He said that would be good, and it's for me, but not for him. Look, I went in with simple clothes after a long day, just wanted to eat something good and a good service. I didn't receive either. So they lost me as a customer and because they did not take the time to make the situation right, nor did they apologize for my grief or apologise for sympathies or leave me there for no reason, I write this very honest criticism. Customer service is about the entire experience. Therefore, there is a decline in the quality and service of this place. I recommend eating elsewhere and not wasting your time or money there.
I love to support my nationality, but we better go. This Plantain was not disgusting!
A friend recommended that I give them a try and boy was I NOT disappointed. I went by Friday night was greeted by a very nice gentleman named John who took my order. I got the Lambi (Conch) complete. The lambi was so tender and seasoned well and the rice beans was delicious! My mom even agreed that the food was delicious. I will definitely be back!
