Brunch included plenty of dishes offered with maple syrup or cooked with the syrup yummmmmmmy! Scrambled eggs, sausages with or without being cooked in the syrup, hash browns, pancakes, bacon (with or wthout), ham pineapple, beans, croissants, toast, French toast, and other items (can't remember them all), provided the main meal. Then there was the dessert table together with Easter goodies for the kiddies. I managed to avoid the cakes, fruit mixtures, and maple flavoured goodie, but that one maple fudge cone cried out for me to take it.It was so right a perfect mouth watering finish to the excellent brunch. Plenty of coffee, etc. to wash it down. The orange juice tasted like Tang though. Super good value for the price charged!
Magnum, a new restaurant that opened this summer, offers a variety of local dishes including sandwiches, wraps, burgers, chicken, fries, poutine, pogos, hot dogs, soup, salad, rings, wings, beer, wine, cocktails, and shooters at affordable prices. They have a great selection of sauces for their wings, which are a special on Friday evenings. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we returned for a second and will likely visit again. The restaurant can seat around 80 people and has a spacious, yet simple country atmosphere with decorations catering to hunters, trappers, and fishermen. I did not see any specific options for vegetarians and vegans on the menu.

Magnum opened this summer. It provides basic local fare - sandwiches, wraps, burgers, chicken, fries, poutine, pogos, hot dogs, soup, salad, rings, wings, beer, wine, cocktails, shooters at prices that won't burn a hole in your pocket. A good selection of sauces to go with wings which are a Friday evening special.Quite enjoyable, we returned for a second visit and will do so again.I didn't happen to note if there's anything specifically for vegetarians and vegans in the menu.Seating about 80 or so this is a spacious, but simple country restaurant complete with decorations geared to please hunters, trappers and fishermen.
My review of the restaurant is as follows: We called the restaurant the day before the weekend to confirm brunch on Saturday. We were informed that they open at 8 and brunch is served at 9. However, when we arrived at 9:10am, we found the doors to be locked. This happened every time we tried to visit, even though their website indicated that they were open. It was very frustrating, especially since we were hoping to support a small business.
