This is an excellent restaurant. The fish and chips happy hour special is an excellent deal. The fish and tarter sauce are delicious. If the batter for the fish was lighter/crispier this would definitely be a five star. I’ll be back because I know they have done five star dishes. My son loved the Rueben sandwich.
The Crown Pub in Fort Collins is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food is consistently fantastic, with fresh mussels that are a standout dish and the addictive pomme frites. The drinks are crafted with fresh ingredients and are delicious. This has become one of our go-to spots for dining out. Don't miss the pommes frites with truffle aioli, and be sure to try the harissa dip if you enjoy a spicy kick.
Consistently one of the better places to eat in downtown FC. The menu doesn't change much--they seem to have perfected each recipe. I have tried everything and there is not a miss on the menu. Service is great as well. Very comfortable and accomodating, regardless of how busy they are.
After living in Fort Collins for five and a half years, I finally decided to try out the Crown Pub. It's located in a prime spot in Old Town and the staff are all very friendly. Overall, I would say that the Crown Pub is a decent place to enjoy some drinks and decent (but not outstanding) food. We started with the mussels and for my main dish, I opted for the half order of fish and chips. My husband chose the steak frites. To end our meal, we had some bread pudding for dessert. Everything we tried was satisfactory. I'm happy to have finally checked the Crown Pub off my dining list in Fort Collins, but I don't think I'll be in a hurry to return.
