Sonny Lubick Steakhouse - Fort Collins

My husband and I have celebrated our anniversary there the last 6 years. Needless to say we have ALWAYS had superb food and service no matter how we were dressed.... Sonny's establishment hires some of the finest cooks and servers and upon talking to our server last night she stated it was one of the most supportive, and caring establishments she's ever worked for. Scott and I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and Beef Carpaccio SUPERB!! We then shared the Bacon Wrapped Filet, which was cooked to order and they didn't blink twice about us sharing a meal. When we first got there it was 5:30. Restaurant was totally empty and the staff was most accommodating. We ordered a flight of their Port Selection for desert and was not disappointed in the least. Once again, our server was quick in telling us about each glass and was truly thrilled in watching us savor each glass. By the end of the evening 2 hours later the restaurant was full (Scott and I like to watch how the staff interacts with customers), and the serving staff was interacting with each of their tables and the atmosphere was delightful. We highly suggest Sonny Lubicks and do not doubt you will have the meal of your life.

This was our first time for dinner at Sonny Lubick Steakhouse. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant is small and ambiance is great for a date. Quiet, but not too quiet. The food is amazing! Yes it is a Steakhouse, but don’t think “a slab of meat on a plate”. This is high end gourmet food. Expertly prepared and plated. The menu is extensive, and offers a lot more tha just steak. The pace of dinner was relaxed allowing us to enjoy the food, and wine. The noise level is low making conversation enjoyable This is an “adult” restaurant. If you have kids, leave them at home with a babysitter. We will be back!

I can’t say enough about our experience at this place. The staff took special care of us when they asked if we were just married. They set up a table just for us in a quiet corner and spoiled us with the best service and complimentary drinks and desert. We couldn’t. Have felt more special.

Classic ambiance. Loved the sleek, modern decor touches interspersed. Nicely plated cuisine. Great service. People watching. Save time to view the photos and sports memorabilia. A must-visit in Northern Colorado.

Was an amazing place!! Came here for a nice evening with my boyfriend for his dinner, being from out of town we took advice from hotel lady... we cannot wait to go back! Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
