However, most of the restaurants nearby were closed or excessively crowded. After a bit of roaming around near the beach, we got a ray of hope by finally finding Killians Boutique hotel.<br/ <br/ This restaurant is a part of Killians boutique hotel serving keralite, north Indian as well as european cuisine. They do serve drinks too.<br/ <br/ The place is surrounded by lush greenery and is beautifully maintained. The wooden and bamboo wall cladding is synchronised well with the theme of the restaurant. The place is few metres away from the ferry station overlooking the beautiful beach. Absolutey lovely place to unwind after sightseeing around the corner.<br/ <br/ We quickly ordered Malabar prawn curry, chicken tikka, plain rice and naan. It's mentioned in the menu that food takes around 35-40 min to be served because they cook everything fresh.<br/ <br/ As hungry as we were, we gobbled some water and were keenly waiting for the food to arrive. The food arrived a bit earlier than expected.<br/ <br/ The Food was quite good. We specially loved the Malabar prawn curry cooked in coconut milk gravy. Since we didn't have much time in our hand, we couldn't try more of their stuff as much as we would have loved too.<br/ <br/ Thanks for being our hunger saviour. Guys, it's certainly a go to place to have a calm and comfortable dining experience.<br/ <br/ With Calorie partner Rethun RJ<br/ <br/
It has beer! Sorry, now that I have gotten over the excitement of getting a drink in this town nowadays, I can get back to the actual review.<br/ <br/ The food is good, nothing exceptional but the ratings are more for the fact that they have a license for beer and wine and hence we went in.
I am glad I chanced upon this place while looking for a restaurant serving North Indian food in the Fort Kochi area as it turned out to be one of the better restaurants serving North Indian.<br/ <br/ Their neon sign on the road however does not advertise it though. <br/ <br/ The ambience is warm and cozy and the service was good too. The menu did not have many options for a vegetarian fare but whatever we ordered was spot on in terms of taste and presentation. Finding good rotis in Kerala can be a challenge but this place serves them up quite well.<br/ <br/ If you want to have North Indian in this area without having to repeat a restaurant, do go ahead and try this.<br/ <br/
