The Q Fort Bragg

This is a classic hole-in-the-wall BBQ restaurant. The menu features the usual offerings of pulled pork, ribs, and chicken, along with a solid selection of sides. The pulled pork was flavorful and moist, not at all dry. The slaw was well-seasoned and complemented the pulled pork nicely. While sides can often be a letdown at BBQ spots, that’s not the case here. The mac and cheese was delicious, and the baked beans were a hit as well. The only downside was the frozen onion rings, which were rather ordinary. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our order was correct.

If you're looking for the best BBQ in Fort Bragg, this is the spot to visit! They have an excellent selection of BBQ dishes. I've tried the blackened fish and chips, smoked wings, brisket salad, smoked chicken taquitos, oysters, and macaroni and cheese. I’d come here every day if I could!

This restaurant is quite shady. I placed a takeout order and paid with my credit card. They handed me a form to sign, where I was supposed to add a tip and total. I'm really glad I double-checked the receipt because they had added a tip without my permission. When I asked about it, the man told me it was just to ensure everything was fine. Excuse me? He refused to remove it, so I ended up getting a refund. There's nothing anywhere that indicates a tip should be added for takeout orders, or any orders for that matter. This might explain why the place is always empty. DISHONEST!

Over the past year I've been in Fort Bragg every other month or so for work and this place had been the high point of the trip. Damn good bbq, brisket and ribs are the stand out. My coworker usually gets and fish and chips, he likes them quite a lot. They got a great selection of sauces as well, my favorite is the tangy followed by the spicy hot.

Looking for some casual dinner. Very friendly service. Best oysters I've ever had. Baked with jalapeno and garlic sauce. Blackened cod taco. Great flavor on everything. Can't wait to go back again!
