Mendocino Chocolate Company

Visited this great chocolate shop after completing our bike tour. The selection of chocolate was amazing. So many different types to choose! We have a box of 12, it's not cheap, but almost everyone was super nice. I like the coconut and peanut most, as they were really rich with these ingredients, not just the taste. The same applies to raspberry chocolate, ooh clobular pieces of fruit. You can also get separate individually packed chocolate pieces with the train design and other shapes! The restaurant features impressive large, colorful displays and a wide selection of premium chocolates. We tried seven different flavors, and each one was delicious, though they are on the pricier side. Parking availability was decent, either directly on the main street or on a side street. However, the service could be a bit friendlier.

The restaurant offered a great variety of dishes, and it was quite crowded when we left. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes before being seated, but the hostess was very pleasant about it. They definitely have something special to offer.

My husband and I dined at the smaller location in Mendocino (I’m aware they have two locations). The staff was very helpful, and the truffles were absolutely delicious.

Found this gem today, yummy!!!! I purchased a few items for gifts, but also did the 50/50 box. My husband and I split the pieces and oh my, so good!! Their caramels are to die for! We did have one topped with sea salt and it was a little much for my palate, but my husband loved it. Excellent flavors and the employees were extremely friendly!
