Cowlicks Hand Made Ice Cream

Absolutely fantastic ice cream! Let’s get real here: Bomb Ice Cream is the place to stop on Highway 1, and you can't go wrong with Cowlicks. The service is excellent, and they offer a wide variety of flavors, including some unique options like fungus and pistachio — both of which are worth a visit just for themselves! You can even get a cup with two flavors, half of one and half of another. Wow! Someone should call Ben and Jerry about this! Seriously though, we live in the mountains, and this place has become our go-to for birthday gifts, special occasions, and even those everyday indulgent cravings. All in all, it deserves five stars for taste, originality, and the cozy experience it offers to guests.

I had the mushroom and the black raspberry with chocolate flakes. The mushroom has a strong maple syrup taste and I liked the fungus taste better than black raspberry as it was less sweet. Subtract a star, as waiting was almost 340 minutes for a single pot of ice. Apart from that, the staff were friendly and it offers a wide range of flavors.

Great service, delicious ice cream, and a line almost out the door. Had a traditional banana split and a hot fudge sundae. Yum!

Came all the way down here for the candy cap ice cream. It was amazing! Highly recommend! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere.

The ice cream here is fantastic! Everything is fresh, and they even make their own waffles. I tried the mint chip and cookies and cream flavors, while my wife enjoyed the mocha almond pump. I highly recommend this place!
