Shane's Rib Shack - Forsyth

The restaurant was a good addition to Forsyth at first, but quickly went downhill. Like many new restaurants, they started off strong when they first opened. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The food is often undercooked or served slowly. My last visit was particularly bad and I doubt I will be returning. We waited 45 minutes for our order, which never arrived. The cashier seemed surprised when we asked for a refund and no one even apologized. Eventually, we did receive a refund, but it was less than what we were owed. I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars.

I am conflicted because I wanted to like this restaurant due to the friendly staff, but the food was bland. I spent around $100 on meals for my group of teenagers to take away, and they hardly ate any of it. The mac and cheese needed more flavor, like salt, and the chicken was disappointing. It seemed like boneless chicken breast torn or crushed into pieces, lacking a grilled taste. The original grill sauce on the chicken also needed more seasoning. The only items we really enjoyed were the boneless wings, okra, and fries.

I have dined at this restaurant four times since they opened across the street and have enjoyed every meal. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. My family will definitely be returning.

In the night we visited, the customer service was fair, but not friendly. the food was marginal as the ocra was a big piece baked together. we had the sampler combo, ripening were very good.

I just had my order delivered to me. The carrier was real nice. And the food was delicious. I will definitely order from them again.
