Forrest Brewing Company

The staff here were quite rude and unprofessional. The tables were dirty, which was disappointing. I’m not sure how they have a 4.9 rating. Additionally, sitting outside felt unsafe due to the proximity of cars coming in and out.

We chose to have lunch at Forrest Brewing Co. while celebrating near Apollo Bay. We were enticed by their all-vegan beer and the positive reviews mentioning the vegan fish and chips. Both the beer and the food were fantastic; the "fish" is made from banana blossom and had an amazing texture. I highly recommend making the trip to Forrest—it's definitely worth the journey!

This city is truly idyllic, and the brewery complements it with a lovely and charming restaurant. The beer I've tried is intense, rich, and delightful. The food is rustic and hearty, with the brewing board being the highlight. However, the service was occasionally a bit haphazard. Overall, it was a picturesque and relaxing lunch experience.

Fantastic beer and absolutely amazing chips and gravy sounds funny, but chips are totally the ding where it is so easy, they want it to be perfect...and those were!

Didn't eat here as the kitchen was closed. Beer selection was OK. My biggest gripe was the customer service. Not warm or welcoming at all. Went out of our way to come here too. Wouldn't come back.
