Rio Lerma - Forney

I stopped by for drinks after hearing great things about the margaritas here, and I wasn't disappointed! They’re some of the few I've had where you can actually taste the liquor. I tried the beerita, while my wife opted for the sangria margarita, and both were fantastic. We also sampled the ceviche, which was quite good. We definitely plan to return to try the food because I'm sure it's just as amazing. I highly recommend this place!

CAUTION!!!! I've noticed that when I place a takeout order, the person taking my order often makes mistakes with both the quantities and the menu items I requested. I now double-check the takeout container to ensure that the dinners match what I've ordered before I leave. I'm also comparing my actual order with the receipt. Maybe the service is better for dine-in customers, but for takeout, this place definitely deserves a 1-star rating!

My wife and I always order the sour cream chicken enchiladas. We might be a little predictable for not experimenting with more dishes, but we keep returning for that comforting meal. The flavors and service are consistently excellent. Sometimes we eat in, and other times we get takeout. The salsa has a noticeable cumin flavor, but it's delicious! I’d choose that over bland jarred options any day!

We?ve been a customer of Rio Lerma for quite some time we live in Forney but we prefer to go to the Terrell location. Our server Sandra did an outstanding job I was craving enchiladas Verdes with sour cream and cheese which was not on the menu but she madeit happen. Thank you for the great experience we?ll definitely be back.

For us, this is the best Mexican place in Forney! They have Margarita nights if you?re into that, they say the drinks are very good. We go there for the food and have never been disappointed. The Service is alway good. The Shrimp cocktail is one of myfavorites but We have probably tried most everything on the menu and have always been pleased.
