Everything looked fresh and was served in good time, decent prices. The homeade chocolate chip cookie was a nice dessert. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd be back!
This is by far the most packed cafe at lunch time in Forestburg. I have come numerous times to this deli and still enjoy it. They have various options on the menu, but the most popular seem to be some sort of wrap/sandwich/or soup combo. I also really love the pizza here! I know that they do as much of the food as possible homemade, especially the soups! And you can buy deli meat as well (which I have yet to do, so can't really comment except that their sandwich meat is amazing). The decor was recently redone and it looks very fresh with still a nice cozy feel. There is a fair amount of room for seating, which is good because they seem pretty busy at times. I see quite a few regulars which include seniors, families, and people travelling through with work, perhaps with the oil industry. Anyways, I would definitely recommend, and want to add that the service is great! The owners take the time to get to know you and almost always come say hi to us when we are in. Also, this place is pretty child friendly. My daughter likes the grilled cheese, and there are a few booster seats and high chairs available. On the downside, being that it is in a smaller town, I believe they close at 5pm and I know they aren't open Sundays.
CJ's is a great small town sandwich shop in ForestburgThey have soup, sandwiches, salad - that sort of thing.

I have been dining at CJ Deli for 15 years and it is without a doubt my favorite restaurant. The staff and owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met, they make you feel like family and the food is amazing. I have never had a complaint and I know that Corey and Salina always go above and beyond to ensure that every meal is perfect for their customers.
