Slainte Irish Pub - Forest Park

Scratch has relocated to this new spot, and it's a significant improvement! The entire Madison area just keeps getting better and better...

My friend and I were just looking for a bar to grab a beer and watch some sports, but when we walked in, a guy confronted us and wanted to start a fight. His girlfriend started yelling at us about "white pride" in Forest Park and threatening us. The restaurant staff did nothing to intervene, and we couldn't even enjoy a single beer there.

I stopped by to meet a friend on a Friday night two weeks ago, but when I arrived at 6 PM, the doors were locked, there were no lights on, and there was no sign of activity. I thought it was an Irish pub and that, being a new place, it couldn't be too bad. Unfortunately, it left a really bad first impression.

My bff is in a pool league and is scheduled to play here from time to time. They have 2 tables in the back with playing of t v captioning sports. This is an awesome place to let your hair down . The place is clean and the people are friendly.
