Golden Gate Chinese - Forest Park

It is a tiny business, immaculate and full of happy Asian chatter. This is always an important indicator for me when people in the region of ethnic restaurants are happy to eat there... usually means good food! This little store proves this thought! HUGE portions, AMAZING flavors and great prices. The Egg Drop soup is yellow, has onions and FLAVOUR, and is so thick the spoon will rest on the top of the soup. 90% sure the egg rolls are homemade, not from a box. And if you eat, they are so fresh that you risk burning your mouth with every bite even the freshly roasted rice! Overall I give this restaurant a 15?/5!!!

Something from the way Chinese restaurant is worth the ride and definitely worth the money. The food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere and the restaurant were almost perfect. The ratio of food compared to the cost will blow your mind. I was full when we were gone, but I had enough food to lead me back for a second day. To my pleasant surprise, the food was still delicious. Five stars?

If you want authentic Chinese cuisine, come to this restaurant. You don't have to spend much for good portions and delicious food. Ideal for family, date night, lunch, dinner or take out. The orders are made without waiting for long. The owner and the staff have a great customer service and make yourself welcome. They won't rush you out. When you hear eating, it feels almost like your part of the family. They also roasted fresh Beijing duck in their eyes. You have to try.

Ordered 15 minutes before closing by ahead. So glad that the person who answered the phone has considered my situation and taken my order anyway. I was greeted with smile and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean. When my order was finished, the host was proud to show me my dishes and to pack the food safely. I ordered General Tso Chicken and Vegetables Lo Mein. The chicken was very bite size and soft, but crispy. They actually use Fish Sauce in their cooking- no ketchup flavor. But food tasted much better when you let it cool. Lo mien and fried rice was average. Overall great experience and I will try other dishes again.

I used to live on this side of town and I moved. Their food is so good to me and my family. We drive over an hour to get food from them. It is fresh and delicious and that pan seared sea bass with the sauce makes my soul happy. Great place to know about
